Spot Fabulous Creatures on Land and at Sea with the Help of Expert Guides

Last year we launched McKinlay Kidd Escorted Journeys – a new way to see Scotland differently on one of our small group tours.  We’re already experienced at planning tours for groups – whether for families, friends or colleagues. Combining an expert guide, off-the-beaten-track accommodation and unique experiences, they've proved very popular, which is why we’re offering escorted journeys as a holiday option.

Our range of escorted small group tours in Scotland for 2014 include two whisky options - our Whisky Explorer Escorted Journey is a grand tour of Scotland's key whisky regions, including Speyside, Highland and Islay, while West Coast Whisky focuses on Campbeltown, Islay, Jura and Oban. Our escorted Scottish Seafood journey is based on our popular self-drive Scottish Seafood Trail and includes a visit to a working oyster farm and a trip with a creel fisherman as he hauls in his catch, plus many chances to enjoy delicious tastings.  Finally our Scottish Wildlife Journey includes a range of land-based and sea-based trips with expert and enthusiastic wildlife guides, so that you will have the chance to spot many different creatures in their natural environment.

McKinlay Kidd's small group tours have been carefully-designed according to our principles of hand-crafted, tailormade holidays in Scotland.  All the accommodation and experiences have been personally tried and tested by members of our team.  We only work with knowledgeable and passionate guides, who enjoy sharing Scotland's hidden gems as much as we do.  If there is a particular distillery you would like to visit on a whisky tour, or a certain place along the way, do let us know at time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Our small group tours take place in June, July, September and October - see the individual web pages for full details of dates and prices.
