Nestling on the quiet southern shore of Loch Ness, only 6 miles from Inverness, Aldourie Castle Estate, offer guests a rare taste of Highland living at its very best.
Set within stunning 500 acres of woodland, garden and landscape, this Grade A Castle is a privately owned historic house which can be yours to enjoy on an exclusive basis.
Over the last two years the Estate has undergone a significant restoration programme and finished to the highest of heritage standards. The Castle features the finest furnishings and fabrics and truly is a place to sit back and enjoy. The small team is always discretely on hand to assist and strives to afford guests as much privacy as possible in order to maintain the ambiance of a private castle. The team will look after your every need from the service of all meals and refreshments, housekeeping, concierge services and much more to suit your stay at Aldourie.
Castle Facilities
Dining as with everything is a unique experience. From the full Scottish Breakfast served in the Lairds Room, the formal dining room, a banquet and ceilidh in the Great Hall to a BBQ on the shores of Loch Ness. Other stunning rooms in the Castle include the Red Drawing Room, Library, Office and Billiard room equipped with sky television and Nintendo wii. Guests are accommodated in a range of 15 bedrooms, each with their own character and views out to the Loch or surrounding Estate. The Estate also provides 3 luxury Cottages with two and three bedrooms which compliment the rooms in the Castle and can host additional guests.
Activities
We work with many local suppliers to enhance the guests’ stay at Aldourie and our Castle Team can arrange all activities from Falconry Display, Clay Pigeon shooting, activities on Loch Ness, Fishing, Golfing at many wonderful courses such as Castle Stuart, Nairn & Royal Dornoch are only a few to mention!
Pricing
Sample prices for the whole castle £9,400 for one night, £14,100 for 2-3 nights £18,800 for 4 nights up to £24.675 for 7 nights Food costs and all drinks are on top and all charged at cost. Guests can bring their own alcohol and no corkage is charged.
