Run by the effusive Beppo and his charming family, this delightful island retreat offers intriguing contrasts and pleasant surprises at every turn.
The hotel building itself is a sprawling mansion, with a comfortable country house feel; whilst the relatively new leisure facilities at the Stables Spa are a testament to streamlined modernity, with a 17 metre indoor heated swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy and reflexology suite - plus a rooftop terrace for leisurely lunches. There's even an "emerging" golf course, with six holes completed so far. But what really makes this place special is the child-like pleasure of wandering along secret woodland pathways and discovering rocky coves where you're unlikely to meet another soul save for a few playful otters.
This special short break includes a sumptuous four course dinner for both nights of your stay, a head, neck and shoulders massage or similar spa treatment.
Prices & Dates
Price from £449 per person for February and March, November & December 2012, and from £550 per person for April to October , based on 2 people sharing a king size-double room, for 2 nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. The break includes an ESPA Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage for two persons, morning coffee and afternoon tea, access to the Spa, gym, Jacuzzi, 17m indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room, use of the other leisure facilities – Crocquet Lawn, Tennis Court and the 6 Hole Golf Course.
For an extra special touch highly recommend an upgrade to a private spa suite, including your own hot tub, sun lounge and garden for those romantic evenings, for £60 per person per night.
Additional massage and beauty treatments are available subject to an extra charge.
We can also organise car hire with unlimited mileage. Please ask us for a price. Cars can be collected at any convenient airport - the island is around 2.5 hours drive from Glasgow or 3 hours from Edinburgh.
