Jaguar E-type 50th Weekend from £495 per person

The Jaguar E-type (known as the Jaguar XKE in North America) is one of the most iconic cars of the 1960s, and 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of its first production. What better way to enjoy the majestic scenery of Scotland than through the windscreen of our 1966 Jaguar E-type S1 roadster?

Your route will be specially chosen by us for you to enjoy the classic touring experience, with plenty of flexibility for you to cover as many or as few miles as you wish, visiting places of interest on the way with lots of suggestions for lunch and other refreshment stops. Routes will vary depending on time of day you collect and return the car and whether you start in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Typically you will start by heading north into Stirlingshire, Perthshire  and the Southern Highlands, or into Fife and St Andrews. You will then continue to the west coast of Argyll, through some stunning highland mountain glens, before returning to Glasgow or Edinburgh by way of Loch Fyne & Loch Lomond. 

Your Accommodation

Your holiday includes nights at two different classic Scottish country inns, where excellent food and hospitality is matched by comfortable surroundings. Our accommodation is all hand-picked personally by McKinlay Kidd, visited and inspected regularly.

Prices & Dates

This holiday can be arranged from the beginning of April to end September 2012.

The price is £495 per person for holidays in April and £525 per person from May to September. Prices based on two people sharing a double or twin room ensuite for two nights on a bed & breakfast basis, and includes 3 days hire of our Jaguar E-type, on an unlimited mileage basis, available from Edinburgh.

Ask us if you would like to extend this holiday with a night before collecting your car in Edinburgh.
