A truly special experience, cruising along the Great Glen from Inverness towards Fort William, along rivers and the scenic and absorbing Caledonian Canal. Ancient castles leading to the waters' edge, heather-clad hillsides and arguably the finest inland cruising scenery in the world. The Legends of the past, the taste of single malt and the mythical inhabitant of Loch Ness all contribute to a special magic only experienced in Scotland’s dramatic Highlands.

Your vessel is the Scottish Highlander - a luxury and spacious 117 foot long canal barge, with the atmosphere of a country house hotel, but with only 8 guests and specially designed for this cruise. Cuisine is traditional Scottish fayre - salmon, game, venison and seafood, prepared by your own master chef. Her experienced crew of four ensure attention to your every need.

Prices & Dates

The cruise operates every Saturday from 3rd April to 23rd October 2010.

Departures in April & October cost £1950 per person, from May to September £2150 per person sharing a twin or double stateroom with ensuite shower for 7 days and 6 nights. This price is fully inclusive of all meals, drinks and excursions.
