The Gaelic Rings

Gaelic-rich journeys throughout the Hebridean Islands and West Highland mainland

The Gaelic Rings, or Cearcaill na Gaidhlig, aims to celebrate the richness of Gaelic language and culture through a series of journeys around the west coast and islands of Scotland.

McKinlay Kidd are proud to be supporters of this exciting and innovative tourism project and to present a series of holidays designed so that both the Gaelic and non-Gaelic speaker can appreciate the landscapes, environment, landmarks and areas of historical and contemporary significance in this part of Scotland.

All McKinlay Kidd Gaelic Ring holidays include information on the places, history and the Gaelic names of where you are visiting, and a copy of a specially commissoned book, containing the personal journeys of six highly respected Scots as they write about their experiences of making the same journeys.
