Win a £200 McKinlay Kidd holiday voucher
Do you have a picture that shows how you’ve seen Scotland or Ireland differently? We’d love to see them – and there’s £200 McKinlay Kidd holiday voucher for the best one. Our competition is open until 31st October 2013, so you can use a picture from a previous trip, or maybe from a McKinlay Kidd 2012 or 2013 holiday.
The winning entries from 2012 and 2011, as well as a selection of the best entries for Scotland are featured on this page.
The winning picture in 2012 was taken by Jackie Boyce, who wrote: " The place is Lochan, between Ballachulish and Glencoe. A chap had built a large house here for him and his Canadian wife and imported the trees from Canada to make her feel at home - but she never stayed and seemingly he was heartbroken. The house lay empty for some time and was eventually turned into a nursing home. A lot of the locals sit and have a quiet time fishing, chatting and going for walks round the grounds. A wee sad story for such a lovely place." Thank you to everyone who entered the competition this year. A larger number of pictures can be seen on our facebook page.
