What's new for 2010

We are continually seeking out new and exciting ideas for holidays and short breaks in Scotland – discovering destinations, activities and accommodation with a real difference.

We are delighted to include a range of holidays in the fascinating Shetland Islands for the first time, which offer dramatic coastlines, great walking and some superb wildlife experiences. They also make for a convenient two centre week ( or longer) with Orkney.

A new option which is already proving popular is our Island Photography Weekend, based on the Isle of Mull, offering the chance to learn new skills in the perfect outdoor environment. Why not combine this with some wildlife watching under expert guidance in our Island Photography & Wildlife Safari?

In accordance with demand we have continued to increase our range of flydrive options to the islands, which now mean you can easily spend a long weekend exploring the glorious sandy beaches of Harris, the prehistory of Lewis or the wildlife of North Uist.

We have also added some more holidays with an appeal to those who would like a week of activities, especially families with our Family Highlands Adventure, and for adults and teenagers alike on our Triple Highland Adventure.

We have been offering holidays featuring the now famous Jacobite Steam train for 6 years now, and our latest train-themed holiday - Great Scottish Railways - now includes another steam train experience and a trip on the equally scenic North Highland Line.

In contrast, for those who would sooner "leave the car behind", we have continued to add to our range of holiday options where you can do exactly that, and enjoy Scotland, at a gentler pace, using public transport.

Finally, we have put together a full fortnight's self-drive tour - the Essential Scotland - which features some of our favourits places to stay and covers many areas of this most diverse of countries (though not everywhere - its just 15 nights after all!)
