In co-operation with Scotland's first commercial seaplane service, we have put together a luxury holiday which will have you touching down in Oban just 20 minutes after take-off from the Clyde, and relaxing in your hotel room within the hour. Whisked away by taxi from Oban to a hideaway hotel on a private island, you can enjoy the maximum amount of time at your destination.Your Hotel
Cross the rickety bridge from the west coast mainland to this idyllic hideaway and you enter a different world - a world of luxury, pampering and seclusion. The five star hotel is a sprawling baronial mansion, with a comfortable country house feel. Meanwhile, the relatively new leisure facilities at the Stables Spa are a testament to streamlined modernity, with a 17m indoor heated swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy and reflexology suite.
This truly unique experience costs £525 per person, from Mid March to end October 2008, with 2 nights in a double room on a bed & breakfast basis, and return flights from Glasgow city centre to Oban Bay by seaplane. A taxi transfer from Oban to the hotel is also included.
